The majority of the Board is now made up of independent members
Milan, July 14th 2004 - The Board of Directors of e.Biscom S.p.A. (Milan, Nuovo Mercato: EBI), Italy's leading broadband telecommunications company, convened today and appointed Carlo Secchi as new board member.
e.Biscom's Board of Directors is now made up of five members: Silvio Scaglia, Chairman and Ceo, Carlo Micheli, Vice Chairman, executive member; Mario Greco, Gianfelice Rocca and Carlo Secchi, independent non executive members.
Carlo Secchi is a Professor of Economics and has been the Chancellor of the renowned University Luigi Bocconi in Milan since November 2000. He was previously both a member of Italy's Senate and of the European Parliament from 1994-1999, serving as Vice-President of the Committee of Economic, Monetary and Industrial Affairs.
