As of 1 January 2026, following the merger by incorporation approved by the respective shareholders’ meetings, Fastweb S.p.A. and Vodafone Italia S.p.A. become a single corporate entity under the name Fastweb S.p.A.

Fastweb and Vodafone Italia are thus joining forces to create a new leader in the country's telecommunications market.With over than 20 million mobile lines and 5.8 million fixed lines, Fastweb S.p.A. establishes itself as the country’s leading infrastructure-based operator, leveraging over 20,000 mobile radio sites covering 87% of the Italian population with 5G, as well as a proprietary fixed network spanning more than 74,000 km, ensuring widespread coverage, with 54% of the network in FTTH (Fiber To The Home).
