On December 31, 2024, Swisscom finalized through its subsidiary Fastweb the acquisition of Vodafone Italia in view of an integration of the two companies.

From now on Fastweb and Vodafone Italia will work to create a leading converged challenger bringing together complementary high-quality mobile and fixed infrastructures, competencies, and capabilities with the aim to provide innovative and competitively priced services to families, businesses and the country, continuing to promote Italy's digital transformation.
