In reply to renewed rumours
Milan, March 30th 2005 - FASTWEB (Milan, Nuovo Mercato: FWB), following new rumours regarding a likely Company's interest in certain Wind assets, once again firmly denies such possibility.
Following the recent successful completion of the capital increase, FASTWEB is strongly committed to implement its organic growth plan according to which the Company will reach 45% of Italy's population by the end of 2006, investing 1.4 billion Euro. FASTWEB position is therefore unchanged with respect to what was declared on January 13th 2005 ("merger talks with Wind over forever").
