Milan, June 1st 2004 -- e.Biscom S.p.A. (Milan, Nuovo Mercato: EBI), Italy's leading broadband telecommunications company, announces that Silvio Scaglia, Chairman and CEO, assumes total operational control of the Group's activities.
The decision was taken following new organizational requirements and coincides with the resignation of Emanuele Angelidis who, after having covered the roles of CEO of e.Biscom and FastWeb from May 14th 2003, has chosen to undertake new professional experiences.
e.Biscom would like to thank Emanuele Angelidis, co-founder of the Company and a manager of great value, who as COO and subsequently co-CEO has given a significant contribution to the entrepreneurial success of the Group demonstrating a sense of vision during the various development phases of FastWeb and helping to create, from its start up, a highly professional and united management team.
