Milan, 22nd May 2007 - Following the successful completion of the Swisscom public tender offer, Mario Rossi has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of FASTWEB. Alberto Calcagno, who was the previous CFO and who has been with FASTWEB since its start-up, becomes Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Mario Rossi is presently Chief Financial Officer of Swisscom. His previous professional experiences include Curator Revision AG, Elco Looser Gruppe, Lindt & Sprüngli AG, Karl Steiner Gruppe.
Alberto Calcagno, prior to joining FASTWEB as head of Strategic Planning, worked for the International investment banks Salomon Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the telecommunications industry.
