Berne, Milan, 6 September 2007 - In relation to the extraordinary dividend distribution of Euro 3,77 per FASTWEB share (Milan MTAX: FWB), approved by the general meeting of FASTWEB on March 23, 2007, which shall be paid to FASTWEB's shareholders on October 25, 2007, Swisscom AG, in its capacity as holding company of the Swisscom Group, which holds 82.1% of FASTWEB's share capital through its subsidiary Swisscom Italia S.r.l., will authorize FASTWEB to postpone the payment of the distribution amount to Swisscom Italia S.r.l. to the fiscal year 2008.
This decision does not impact the consolidated Swisscom Group accounts as the sole implication is a time shift in cash transfer from FASTWEB to Swisscom Italia S.rl., and does therefore not influence the combined net debt position. Such request will not affect the other FASTWEB shareholders, who will receive the dividend payment on the planned dividend payment date.
