The Chairman of FASTWEB (Milan MTAX:FWB), Silvio Scaglia, on January 23, on learning from press reports that his name was included in the register of persons under investigation within the framework of the inquiry by the Rome's Prosecutor Office and without receiving any warning of investigation, filed a formal request with the magistrates for clarification of his exact position in the investigation. On February 2, 2007, Silvio Scaglia was informed that he is officially under investigation.

Milan, February 2, 2007 - The Chairman of FASTWEB (Milan MTAX:FWB), Silvio Scaglia, on January 23, on learning from press reports that his name was included in the register of persons under investigation within the framework of the inquiry by the Rome's Prosecutor Office and without receiving any warning of investigation, filed a formal request with the magistrates for clarification of his exact position in the investigation. On February 2, 2007, Silvio Scaglia was informed that he is officially under investigation, according to articles 416 Codice Penale and 2622 Codice Civile.
