Today, the Agreement for the provision of wholesale services signed by Fastweb and Sky in 2019 has entered its operational phase.
Sky is the third national operator, after Windtre and Tiscali, to implement the Fastweb innovative wholesale platform and its network technology to provide ultrabroadband connectivity services to its customers. The agreement extends the Sky overall coverage of the ultrabroadband service to a potential user base of 18 million households through the use of the FTTC network and provides also for the possibility of using in the future the other Fastweb technologies of proprietary access, such as the FTTH and the ultra FWA based on 5G frequencies during the roll-out phase of these months.
