For us rhythmic gymnastics is the best way to express ourselves.
There are no words, only movements, which with the use of the apparatus, allow us to tell a story.
In personal terms though, gymnastics becomes a genuine way of life and it teaches you and leaves you with that discipline and rigour that is typical of those who have come to understand from direct personal experience that you can only achieve a result through the spirit of sacrifice.
Captain of "Le Farfalle"
Towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Not only the sprinter, Filippo Tortu, is on the road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Also accompanying Fastweb and the Italian people towards a #nientecomeprima (nothing as before) dream, are the girls from the Italian national rhythmic gymnastics team, better known as "Le Farfalle".
With their precision, speed and power combined with grace, Letizia Cicconcelli, Martina Centofanti, Agnese Duranti, Alessia Maurelli and Martina Santandrea thus become part of the Fastweb communication strategy expressed through the faces and endeavours of young athletes, full of talent, ready to face the greatest challenges with passion and determination, giving their utmost in every competition. An exciting journey towards the dream embodied by the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which Fastweb will experience connected #ConnectedTogether, together with the athletes and the Italian people.
I am honoured to have been chosen by Fastweb to accompany the firm in its new communication project. So far, our collaboration has been absorbing and fun, which are also two distinctive elements in my approach to training. This period will be intensely devoted to achieving the most important goal for any athlete: playing a leading role in the Olympic Games. Thanks to the support of Fastweb I will be able to give my all to concentrating on my preparation and training.
We all have a dream
To tell not only its own dream but also that of each and every Italian, Fastweb has chosen the fastest Italian ever as its endorser until 2020: Filippo Tortu, the sprinter who, over a distance of 100 metres, beat the record held by sporting legend, Pietro Mennea. So just as Filippo is dreaming of going to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Fastweb has another equally strong ambition: To become the first Italian fully fixed-mobile convergent operator to connect Italy with 5G.
Speed in our DNA
Just like Filippo, speed has always been in Fastweb’s DNA and after having played a leading role in bringing ultra-fast ultra-broadband connections to households and companies in Italy, the company is once again reaffirming itself as a leader in innovation with another important dream to pursue for its country: to have all Italians make the jump to full digitalisation with G5.
Being part of the new Fastweb campaign excites and amuses me at the same time.
The year that has just begun will be very important for me and counting on such a reliable partner gives me energy and courage.
Fastweb and the entire team were all very supportive in sharing commitment and passion, that is what it takes to achieve our dreams.
Fastweb's new year kicks off with the courage, power and determination of Simona Quadarella, who, in her role as endorser, is supporting Filippo Tortu, the fastest Italian sprinter ever, and Le Farfalle of the Italian national rhythmic gymnastics team.
Fastweb's run-up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics continues with the current world champion of 1500 m freestyle and silver-medallist in the 800 m, also the winner of three gold medals in the recent 2019 European Aquatics Championships in Glasgow.
Together towards Tokyo 2020
Following on from the communication that opened with Filippo and continued with Le Farfalle, the purpose of the new Fastweb campaign, with the young star of Italian swimming at its centre, is to accompany all the Italian people towards a dream of "nientecomeprima" ("nothing as before"), a dream that for the Italian champion is "Olympic", whereas for Fastweb, it is to connect Italy, in a world that has broken down all the boundaries between fixed and mobile telephony by means of 5G technology.
